I don't see why it wouldn't run 12's, as long as you can get it to hook and cut a decent 60'...

Its will run 12s if you can get a low 1.8 or hi 1.7 60 foot. My bro had an all stock lq4 with headers and a single 3in cut out, 3400 stall, 4.56 gears and went 13.1 at 101 with a 1.8160 foot in 3000 da, and never even got a clean pass were it dead hooked. in 2000 da it would of been 12s. A 228 cam will help alot more then a 4.56 gear will if you got a 9.5in converter.

These guys a building a strong case for 12s! I will be very impressed still but it seems very possible.

I would shoot for low 13s since they should be in the bag for sure. Then if you get the 2 you can be that much more excited.
