Default Finally got the CC to the race track!

Took the truck to the track for the first fime tonight. I made 10 passes and 7 were 12.7's, two were 12.6's and my best was a 12.58. I was consistant 1.7's 60 foots all night.
I ran the truck on my 22's and my best run was a 1.75 60 foot, 7.9 1/8, 12.58 1/4 @ 104 MPH.

Good Job Fred. I Bet after some more tinkering you'll be even faster. What boost are you seeing?

Now THAT"S what I'm talking 'bout
Wow Fred that CC is haulin ****!!!
Your getting that speed on only 7-8lbs? Daum!
Nice and consistent ET's.
How's the truck's street manners? Low speed driveability? Also, is the idle situation any better?

Thanks guys!!
Spoolin- Ya thats what I was hopeing for. Traction was good. I run it in 4x4 and it only spun once bad enuff that people came to me in the stageing lanes and asked if I tryed to launch in 2wd. The rest of the time I'd only get a squak of the launch.

FastCrewCab4x4- Ya I still haven't installed my methonal kit yet! I am hopeing I'll see a improvement once I do. I am running 8 lbs of boost and it drops to 7 lbs on the top.

trever1t- I'll try to get it on the scales today and see what it weighs. I took the tailgate off and thats all I did to lighten it up for the track compared to everyday driveing. I still havent installed my roll pan yet.

Richard@WCCH- Street manners are great, along with driveability. The idle still could use some tweaking. Sometimes it will stall randomly on start up or putting it in gear. The idle is set at 900 rpm's.

.T.- Ya it was a good night. It wasn't to busy. I made 10 passes! How offten can you do that there.

Brian@JPA- Brian thanks for your help! I never ran it before this motor setup. I bought the truck last November and the track was closed. I put the blower on during the winter and blew the tranny (twice) before the track reopened. The second tranny breaking was the cause of this build!

The Breeze- Thanks man!!

Well for reference, on a hot tune up and 9 psi on my 5.3L CC I could only muster up a 13.4 @ 101.8. I would say you are low 12's with some more work and time with your current set up. The one thing I can say is you are running times of a 500+ rwhp vehicle.
