The whole myth of high gears are better suited for turbo cars I think stems from the fact that you will see boost faster compared to rpm with a higher gear, but you will in fact be slower. So would you rather make boost or go faster? If you just want to make boost then never use 1st gear and there you go.
Havent stopped any of the trucks ive seen and none of them were slow.....

Can't believe you say that and live in Houston. Most ppl I know personally, in this hobby, consider 9s to be "respectable".

Not saying a 10 sec ride isn't worth having at all. Just saying don't go chest thumping in certain places while making that kind of power. You will get embarrassed.

LOL, sport car drivers in Houston think twice before racing a full size Silverado. i tried picking several races with vettes with the s10. they would give me a thumbs up and deny the race.
