Default It begins

This is the best time I ran the first time I took the Tahoe to the track last summer. All I had was a tune, MIT, spintech muffler and the third row seat taken out. I hope to get to the track this weekend or next to see how much I can better that with addition of a built transmission and 3000 stall torque convert.

I ran the 16.94. I can't wait to get back to the track. I hope to get into the 12s at some point.

Did you get to the track yet? 16.9 seems very slow for a tuned truck. Completely stock I ran 16.8 in my 06 with a 5.3.

D/A could play a big roll by I would have expected mid 16 at the slowest with a tune.

Don't listen to anything this guys says. Not everyone can be as fast as him and he'll let you know it.

Thanks Jake. Mid 16 could be possible. It was also my very first time going down the track. I have a few things to learn about driving down the strip too. Speaking of witch, do you guys run in drive or third and should I use the tow/haul mode?

when i was stock i ran a 10.5 on the 1/8th mile, then gradually got it down to the 9's and recently down to my all time best 8.1, i took it to the 1/4 recently and she ran a 12.8 @ 108 MPH, it's been a blast making this big boat move, good luck with your adventure.
