Cold

Lower makes them hook worse and best to use them on least 9" wheel

Honestly not enough footprint for your truck unless 4wd and have good boost controller

with my slicks, i always did a burnout like this

roll through water box
get them spinning in 1st, right into 2nd. hold rpm around 4500
hold until whitish smoke
roll out a car length and ease off throttle

i would think 15-16 psi. test and tune my friend.

At my local track I could get 8-10 passes no prob. make 2 at 17psi, then 2 at 16, then 2 at 15. keep burnouts and launch rpm the same. Compare slips

I was doing 1.8's and a best 1.81 on NT05R street tires. So I think 1.7s should be easy. I have a ams 500 boost controller with CO2 and 2wd with Caltrac's
