Guys the tires did great on a suck *** track. But do to not able to build boost off the line I only cut 1.79 60ft. I'm in the planning stages to fix this. Trans brake or hydro boost

Default slicks

when I run less than 18 .slicks will hook and then spin on rim. mark a spot on rim going by valve stem .also this really going based on power.you have to watch slicks low air pressure can cause wheel spin because when tire wrinkles the footprint gets a part of tire that doesn't touch track cause tire to slip

Start high and work your way down, no need to go unecesarily low on psi.

I install rim screw to stop the tire from spinning on the rim. The tires are catching hell trying to hook up and move 5500lb. I may use a old 10.5 outlaw trick by installing tubes in the slicks. The tires are chattering bad at about 100ft out when more boost is ramping in.

as i stated in post 7 not enough foot print for your truck, when i turned my truck up to 18psi i would haze them on a well prepped track on a 3-4 gear change

they are a decent tire for lower HP/tq vehicles but nothing of power unless they are stretched on a 11" rim

George, I thinking about bigger slick. But that would be much later in the year. I'm just going to get the truck to be a little easier on the tires and ramp in smoother.
