Default 275/40r20 drag radials hook well?

I'm curious to know if anyone has had any luck with 20" drag radials? I'm wondering if they'll hook, on my 99' ls1 s-10 with cal tracs, afco adjustable rear shocks, flip kit and belltech leafs.

Key to hooking is sidewall, I've had 20s before big waste of 600+ dollars

I figured they wouldn't hook all that well, due to a 40 series sidewall. I appreciate your input!

20" drag radials can work just fine if you buy a good brand and work the suspension. You may want a 315/35R20 Nitto NT05R though if you want a good 20" tire.
