12.43 @ 110.5

Went to a t&t today. Went 13.7 the first run spinning. On the second run I was at 12psi in 4wd, and went the 12.43, never got to go at 16psi, because a guy broke at 60' and coasted all the way down the track leaking tranny fluid. I'm happy so far, just wanted to see what it would do at 16psi.

keniff is right, I just barely see boost. I need to start looking for a hydroboost, because my brakes will not hold it back. I also need to go get the tune finished, it is "safe" right now, needs more timing, and is a little rich.

i love that its a safe tune and it went 12.4s @ 110 that's good times.id love to see your truck with a boost built 3200 converter so it could leave on more boost.

My 60ft was only 2.009, but I jumped way out on the late 80s 5.0 with a cam in the next lane. I think if my brakes would hold better it would make a lot more boost. I only saw about 1-1.2psi before it started pushing.

yeah, you def need to figure that out with the brakes. I can build full boost (only 7lbs) with my vac brakes. I ran a 12.78 in my 5600lb cc like that in 4wd. My performabuild converter brake stalls around 3-3200. The holeshot makes a HUGE difference in your ET if you can get your 60ft down. Maybe check your vac. check valve on your brake booster and see if it functions correctly. My truck originally came with that stupid motor thing on the booster, no check valve. I couldn't make any boost like that on the line. I put a check valve from an 02 truck on there and now I can make 7 lbs.
