Default 1/8 mile times

Well I went to an 1/8 mile track because my cousin was going so I decided to bring my truck along. Below is my best pass out of the 3 that I made. I still feel like my truck has more in it, I still am working on the tune and my 60' time.

R/T .0609
60' 1.851
330 5.231
1/8 8.028
MPH 85.81

that's pretty damn good! i can only manage an 8.20 on motor only. you have the ultimate tuning setup. have you done the VE auto tune yet? are you getting any KR? how much timing are you running?

Thanks. Yea I have done a ton of AutoVE 2bar tuning, It is pretty easy once everything is setup. Right now I am running 22 deg. of timing @ WOT without any KR, I dont know if I can run more timing yet because I am trying to get the Air/Fuel right especially on the top end. I had my truck on the dyno for some fine tuning but I only got one pull because my driveshaft broke. Once I get my tune right I am going to pulley down to a 2.9 or 3.0 and add a meth injection kit and that is it until I need to get a new motor.

Yeah man that's a pretty good 1/8 time. When will you hit a 1/4mi track next? What was you 1/8 time when you made the 12.92 pass?

Thanks guys, I will be heading to a 1/4 mile track again in a couple weeks after I go back to the Dyno for some more tuning. When I ran the 12.92 1/4 mile my 1/8 mile time was 8.233. Its pretty cool going to the tracks here in Indiana because everybody is impressed with my truck because there are no other trucks like mine around here. If I lived in Texas, California, Arizona or Flordia I would just be another 12 sec truck. By the way, On the way home tonight from watching "Talladaga Nights, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" I happened to pull up next to a Dodge Dakota R/T at a stoplight and I smoked him bad.

Speaking of nice times. 12.51@105.52 w/1.73 60' What all do you have done to your truck, That is VERY IMPRESSIVE for a 5.3 NA. BTW I saw your picture in you sig and you have the passenger side headlight removed, Does that really help at the track? Let me know.

Most of us see 1/10 and 1 mph from the additional air hitting the filter.
