Default Shoenfeld headers on 4x4 ?

I was wondering if anyone has tried the shoenfeld ls swap headers on a 4x4 yet? My 96 rcsb got totalled by a girl texting on the expressway during rush hour. So the new project is an obs 3500 crewcab 4x4. I am still tryin to stay kinda budget so the shoenfelds would be nice if they will clear.

I am at work. so I can not copy and post links. Go to LS1truck.com and look for a thread

Officially Swapping a 6.0 blah blah into OBS Escahoe Get Da Water
I ended up going with NBS Pacestter headers...they will clear the Xfer Case. I don't think it being a 3500 make it any different. I posted part number...the least exspensive option was thru AMAZON.com. Buy the uncoated version. Get them to fit...send them out to Hi-temp coated and re install.

Good luck in your build and cant wait to see it.

OR

go down a few threads on the page...look I posted part number from jegs Copy and paste that into amazon.

ON ls1truck a gent with 4x4 2 door used the headers with no problems

My friend had them on his 97 but it had a 6" suspension lift. The collector was just above the front diff, it wouldnt have fit with the diff in the stock location.

I tried a 99-06 header on my 89 with the 5.3 in it and the headers wouldnt fit. They werent pacesetters though.

Either way it should be fine as long as its over a 4" diff drop.
