In all my surfing, I saw where some one with a 88-98 body style truck, cut a chunk of frame out and boxed it in to let the lower mounted AC work. Just don't remember where I saw it.

yeah autozone has them but you have to order it. its a 2000 vette filter right? on LS1Truck.com there's a big write up. ive been studying it and looking for parts. i need the clam shell mounts to bolt to the motor. some hoses, a fuel pump, a harness to be reworked or made and the motor combo. i just dont want to pay 700.00 for a harness lol

http://ls1wiringharness.com/e-commer...-catalog2.html they have one for about 500.00 looks to me like its a good harness.
