I bought a WIX filter for a 00 Vette for like $30.

You can see in the pic what we did. The rubber hose coming out by the trans in the vent that goes up on the front of the intake.
We bought a 96 Silverado pump and sending unit all from Orielly's. Should be a direct drop in on the 94.

whats the part numbers for those fittings?
is there a way to make it connect to your factory hard line where your stock filter goes. get a fitting to hook to the filter then thread it into the nut type fitting it has. howd you connect the intake to those fuel lines? same type of fittings or different?

To give you all a little update on the 95. Dad has put quite miles on it since we got it done, I have had it to one Cruise in, and it has gotten a lot of attention. Any time the hood comes open people look and go WOW.

Dad has not let it sit long enough for me to address the cruise yet. Sadly enough...he is thinking about selling it.... but to my brother who used to own it. As long as it stays in the family, I'm happy. Wish I had a need/use for it. I'd love to have it!

Thanks! Dad still owns it, chickened out of selling it

We've had some issues with it. The throttle pedal was dropping out and going into limp mode and only allowing Idle. It was getting a bad power signal to the TCM, so we made a new harness from the TCM to the TB, it did the trick, no issues since.

Currently we are in the middle of putting in a custom dash cluster. The speedo pooped out and we never could get the tach working. I bought a Dolphin gauge kit for dad, once my 94 L33 upgrade is running dad's comes back in the garage to finish up the gauges.

I'm probably being a little to aggressive but my solution there is to try to get the gauge cluster to come with the LM7... I'm not looking forward to the wiring after reading through all this.

Subscribed! Very nice write up man and interesting points, seems like alot of us are running into the problem of mounting the ac w/ turbos or sc, i stuck a turbo where my ac is supposed to go and will have to build a bracket or try to find a dang link where someone notched the frame for the lower mount ac but then ill be getting into the motor mounts way! think its possible to put the ac on the drivers side of the motor and just get hoses custom made for it or will that change rotation on the ac? Thanks dude and very nice project

accessories turn the same way regardless of side of the engine... you should be able to mount it anywhere it'll fit.. as long as you can get a belt on it.

My AC solution is removal. I rarely use it up in the frigid north anyway. lol
