I see, that's the pitfalls of buying something not new in box, I wonder what happend to these different retaining clips, thank you very much for clearing that up, I've been searching on and off for years, now the search begins for finding those replacements!

Call SSBC and they could probably sell you those clips.

yep, sent an email to ssbc right after I saw your post about the clips, no reply yet, I'll have to try calling, no biggie, truck is burried in a couple feet of snow till the spring anyways, thanks for informing me about the clips though yenkost, i really appreciate it.
