Not sure if you know already. But doing a gmt800 master cylinder swap into your gmt400 is from what ive read a good cheap factory brake upgrade. I can't vouch for it since I have not done it to mine yet. Just what I've read is it gives it a very firm pedal rather then the usual gmt400 squishy pedal.

I just installed some PowerStop calipers/pad's and the summit racing rotors on my 1992 C1500. The performance is nice and they look great.

what is the difference between these and the C2500 caliper? Anything other than red paint?

I have a few brake upgrades done to mine.

Hydroboost with master cylinder, Stainless braided brake hoses, SSBC dual piston brake calipers, and EPC yellow pads and it's a heck of a lot better than factory. There is no brake travel without getting into the brakes.

can I ask what ssbc calipers you have, I have set of nice looking dual piston ssbc calipers that I bought on craigslist a number of years ago. there is no way in hell the inboard pad works with the pistons, so they've been expensive paperweights for quite some time now. I think part # a786-1 is what they are,

You should have these for a C1500.

yep thats exactly what I have, now try to fit that d369 inboard pad with the spring clip on it meant for a single piston into this caliper with dual pistons, it don't work! or please somebody show me that I'm a retard, cause I'll gladly eat humble pie and put these paperweights to work!

It should come with a dual snap spring. Grind off the orginial 1 piston snap and install rhe 2 piston snap. Then fits right in.
