hello, i was hoping someone could help me out, im hoping that i can strike gold in a junk yard some time or find someone who doesnt know what they have, what vehicles did the 4l80e come in?

They are not too expensive. You can usually find one with fairly low miles for 800-1000 bucks.

i ment more specifically years and what not, i can rebuild a tranny and build it with all the parts so id wanna find it for $100 at the yard

99 and newer work but i think a few older ones can work . i know it needs to have the shifter linkage .someone chime in on what older years can work as well. i

i have a lead on a 99 obs sclb 2500 im hoping will work as it has the rear end sought after and a decent 350.

the 93+ ones will work as well, but will be missing the bell housing bolt hole on the top, which isnt a huge deal since there are 6 other bolts.
