Just wanted to write a introduction/write up for my page just for you guys

About a year ago i purchased a 1990 c1500 Scottsdale fleetside bed with the intentions of doing some street style racing and over all cool looking functional truck. so far been just stacking capital but with a lucky break i have some movements that are must do.

For the bench to bucket swap you will more then likely need to drill your floors for the brackets and weld a nut to the underside. There is an excellent writeup on gmfullsize on how to do this

I have a drum to disk conversion from SSBC, pretty straightforward to install. The calipers they use, are Ford Thunderbird.

Was it worth it in your opinion? Also does it add a lot of parts on? I was also told that its cheaper to do a full rear swap with a van or truck that has disk brakes.

Awesome write up thanks for that I might just use racing seats instead of the mid size gm for weight reduction
