No I'm not "sure" they will work. I have been told by one person that they will and chevyracer83 said that they should bolt up based on some pictures of the oil filter area, but he couldn't "guarantee" that they will fit. I'll take a chance that they will, I really believe that oil cooling is good for the engine so one what or another I will make it work.

 

Yes I have the temp reading in the mirror. It's not a big deal if I can't find that part. The sensor still works just the stupid plastic bracket is free to spin in its hole due to a tit being broke off of it.

Not a cheapy... They estimated $434.56 for the grille.

 

by seeing the price on GMPD i will bet my cost at stealership will be close to $300 with tax if not bout $25 more so close to $325


is there anything special about the grill i have some buddys at salvages here in the area i could check with and see bout a good used one

 

I got the new tranny cooler, radiator and the a/c condensor for a little less than that! The price of the estimate on the grille that is.

 

There is nothing special about the grille. It is just a factory grille. I have been looking at trying to find an aftermarket one. I think I can get one for between 200-250 I would event get something different from the OEM style if I can find something I like.

 

I feel for ya! Unfortunately it's my car that does all the fighting with me. I fix something, something else goes wrong or I am about to fix something (pretty much replacing EVERYTHING on my brake system) and something else goes wrong (one day I'm driving it and out of nowhere I smell burning tranny fluid...have yet to look at it to see what it's gonna cost me. Hopefully it's an easy fix....hopefully.....)

If I had 1,000,000 dollars, I'd paypal you half.

Here are a bunch of pictures of my repair day just for the hell of it. I still have to order some oil cooler lines so I can attempt to add that option to my truck. As you can see I don't have a new grille yet. Hopefully the weather will be warm enough next weekend to recharge the A/C.
