Cooked tri tip for the first time. Hour on the smoker at 225* until 120* inside and then seared in garlic butter for 3min a side until 135* inside. Rested 30mins. Came out better than I hoped for.
I just got a bone in beef rib roast, my first high dollar purchase of meat, what would you guys do with it ? I’m using a pit boss vertical smoker. I was thinking of just using basic salt and pepper/ brisket rub for seasoning and smoking it until rare/ med rare
