I got mine for $1.99/lb at Tom Thumb. I think they were around $32 and $34 each, so 16 lbs-ish. The fat I trimmed was felt like 4-5 lbs, so I think it's closer to $3.50/lb-ish of actual meat; still not bad.
$4-$5/lb for beef is as much as I'll pay and can afford for beef, LOL. My brother and I have bought steers before and divide it in half. That's the only way we can get a lot of beef for a bit cheaper. ☺️

Always do em this weekend to celebrate my nephew’s birthday party. Last year we did 650lbs and a brisket and it was all gone. This year we only did 53lbs. But we only had 8 people here instead of 70+. Doing another boil for Easter.
