Default rear axle identification and measurements

a guy on craigslist is selling a rear axle from an 03 3500 duramax srw with disc brakes. he says its a 14bolt. wouldnt this be an AAM 11.5 axle? he hasnt a pic and hasnt returned my email yet.

also does anybody know if the spring spacing is the same between the 1500, 2500, and 3500? id like to pick this thing up for sas in my .5 ton z71. itd make for a simple swap with my stock junk already having disc brakes...

any thoughts?

thanks

I am pretty sure the 11.5 has a 14 bolt cover, same as the old and current 10.5 rear ends.
