Default Picking up an '04 LB7

Hey guys, new to the diesel side of things but getting my feet wet with a 2004 GMC 4x4 LB7 duramax CC loaded. It has 280,000 miles, but most have not seen any type of towing and I'm getting it for STUPID cheap. Guy used it for his commuter to work at back every weekend which was about 450 miles each way. It's got an exhaust and intake on it, but otherwise stock.

First things to do on it will be injectors, maybe glow plugs while I'm in there, brakes, and the normal oil/fluid and filter changes. Any other suggestions on what to do with this beast?

definetly injectors. those are notorious to go out on LB7's. DO NOT get remaned injectors either. get quality ones. ive owned a LB7. ive been down the road with it. but i never regret it. ill probably find another one soon. damn good truck.

You already have intake and exhaust. Next would be EFI Live and start saving for a trans. After you throw quality injectors in of course.

I just do little stuff there, oil changes, tires, brakes, fluid changes, etc. Thanks for your input guys. I'll get some pics when I pick it up this weekend.
