Yeah thats no ****! I know ! 4500$ in trans, 1000$ in tuning/software, lift pumps, still havent touched the motor/turbo in my DMAX. But she runs!

Thats one reason i came back to gas trucks, less expensive to build engines, but i love both.

BTW welcome and that is a badass dually !

exactly! you know what im talking about then! im at the point where im ready for more fuel, and a bigger charger, but a bigger cp3 runs 2k, turbos are between 1500-3000, and really the bottom end of a duramax can only hold 600-650 safely, so that would be sooner or later after the previous mods i listed and that gets into the 3k range for rods and pistons. and really i dont think its worth it when i can take a 5.3 with bolt ons and a little spray and get into the 12's-11's for a 1/4 of the price.

thank you sir. ive always been a high horsepower speed freak. been working around cars since ive graduated highschool. first car was a 74' nova, i choose the parts and built the engine by myself, when i was 14. went to college for diesel technology, and now i have a career as a diesel mechanic. this is just in my blood...but anyways thank you for the welcome and hopefully i can get much needed info about this future built i have planned. hopefully ill start on it in the next month.
