Dont worry bro, we'll help ya along the way. These LSx engines are the best damn small block gas engines on the planet. So cheap and easy to build , and make so much power , you'll love em.

Hell look at what guys here have done,

Theres a 4.8 stock bottom end with turbo running 10.8's!
A 5.3 with TVS 1900 ECSB Z71 running low 11's with over 600 RWHP!

Stock bottom end LS engines are good for about 800 RWHP with proper tuning!

Plus TONS of others,

My Dmax is powerful and fast for how big it is ( YOU KNOW THIS), but my 2000 Silv will eat it for lunch in a race . But it sure wont tow a trailer as well as the Max ! LOL

And i hope i never have to do a build on my Dmax, 10,000 for a budget rebuild is INSANE! Let alone the 20,000 $ - 50,000$ Builds i see guys doing . ItsJust CraZY!

 

thanks alot man. im definetly gunna need the help along the way. never built a newer fuel injection engine. this is new territory for me. now i just need to sell this truck so i can get into a 1500 and start the build. already got my parts list. im ready to go.
