New 90MM 8.1L Intake Manifold

Any updates? I'm also interested in a Whipple setup, I have a traditional Whipple kit that I'm hesitant on installing. I tow 13k and am at around 5000 feet in elevation so my 8.1 needs some help

Not interested in turbos. Don't want the heat and I don't want to wait for them to spool. I really don't want much boost maybe 5 psi max just something to compensate for my elevation. I have a Whipple on my other truck and absolutely love the low end gains...at least for a small block

trust me properly sized turbo you wont have an issue. heat if you wrap everything another non issue. turbos like heat to build power. over spinning that tiny 2.3 blower you will be making heat inside it which isnt helping at all on top of belt issues torsional load on crank etc plus the hp to turn the blower. From experience supercharged viper gts. 15 pounds of boost with a bigger then what you have blower 730 to the tires same engine with twins 1000 to the tires now i know you dont need that kind of power but which would you pick

Raylar is going to make me go broke lol. I keep adding to the want list
A small turbo would be a lot better than the whipple. Trust me j had both. But if you tow that much and ad any boost you have a hurt trans / converter. Besides the normal cold air intake, headers. I'd look into steeper gears or a under-over drive kit from gear vendors. If they make a under - over for you trans it would be best of both worlds. Incase you don't know how they work , they spit each gear somehow. So it would. " first under", stock first, first overdrive, second under. Second, second od, etc etc. At least that is how they explained it to me, I haven't had a under over. But I did have a over behind my TH400. It went. First, first over, second second over, 3ed. 3ed over. Split my gear changes in half. Helped a lot but it was on boarder line race car.
