Not much to report lately got my hd running. My dad decided he wanted my spare engine for his hot rod so building that for him. Going to dyno it with stock intake and cam then install ported intake then install cam for actual dyno number gains.

so tell me any draw backs to dropping a 8.1L in my truck with a cam and tune? what kind of hp and tq do these come with.

Well in colorado i would do a turbo first since your guys altitude SUX

Cam tune and a ported intake Will wake it up a bunch

Default Nv 3500

Are you the person that is using the nv 3500 on the 454 I'm trying to find out what I need to do to get the 454 in my daily driver as cheap as I can just to get it back on the road

That would be the fairly weak one. Mine was a gmt800 trans which has the bigger mainshaft
