Well, I am just about done with the fab up on these things. I had to make a false back for the Efans that was a little bigger than the stock size. I added some ears to it so it would sit down on the radiator clips. Tomorrow I will build the harness and should have it in on Saturday. Here are a few pics of the setup....

Here is the 05 Efans.

Here is the false back with ears that I made.

This shows how i trimmed the lips off the back of the fans and made them flush for a tight fit on the panel

Here is the back of the panel

Here are the fans sitting on the panel.

I hope it works out...I will let you know on Saturday.

Looks like its gonna work out well. Got them installed and tuned in today. Outside temps were only about 60* so i will need to wait till warmer weather to really test them, but they kept it in the 172-178* range with no problem. I drove it for about 30 minutes to get it up to temp then pulled over and let it sit and idle to see how it would do with that. I let it sit for about 10-12 minutes and it would run up to 178*(low speed turn on temp) and quickly fall back to 172* (low speed turn off temp). It did this several times before I got back in an drove home. I will get some more updates when it gets warmer...but first impression is good!! . I really like the bidi controls in EFILive where i can turn them on and off at the click of the mouse too. Test both speeds and they work nice....they pull a lot harder than i thought they would.

As always....here are some pics of it installed.....

Man, that looks way too cool, I'm really impressed by your ride BTW, looks like you're missing a clip in the center of your plastic radiator cover

Just a follow up to the Efan happenings. Today it was about 83* outside and sunny so i figured it was a good time to try out the efans and A/C. To make a long story short they are working beautifully. Drove around for 20 -30 minutes with more than a few WOT runs and the temps never went above 175* with or without the A/C on (i have a 160* T-stat). Parked it and let it idle for 10-12 minutes with the A/C on and it still never went above 175* and the air was ice cold. Next test will be in some 90*+ humid days but i think we are still a month or so away from those.
