idk what it is, but its the little plug thing that screws in to the larger hex thing at the bottom of the filter, once it started leaking i took it out and put it back in twice and its still doing the same thing...?

What most likely happened is that the drain plug cracked when putting the filter in, I have done it a couple times myself, I would go to napa and get a new water in fuel sensor and put it in

I messed with it some this afternoon and it looked like it was just leaking past the seal on the plug and just coming out the hole in the middle. So I just plugged that hole and will see if that works when I get back home in a few hours

It seems like plugging that hole has at least helped the problem... It fired up after just a few seconds this morning, so at least it seems like its holding its prime now

ya, since this has seemed to fix it ill grab a new sensor....
that or get a lift pump and get rid of this whole contraption. (i can do that, cant i?)
