Yes, there is about 6 O rings that can go bad in the fuel filter assembly itself. A new stock filter head is about 300$, so the O ring kit is cheap. Of course GM doesn't sell those O rings separate... :/

Definitely rebuild the filter head. Quick easy and with higher miles it needs it. Injection pumps start to lose efficency after around 50k I was told. Lift pump helps ease the strain on the injection pump and add power, it's a win win

aweasome, just ordered to o ring kit!! hopefully thats all it is... if that doesnt do it i guess ills till be dropping the tank and checking it out, then who knows from there!

Not true about the cp3. My original pump in my build has 130k and my 2nd pump has 240k

I'm just regurgitating what Industrial Injection told me when I ask the about rebuilding/upgrading mine (210k) he said they wouldn't mess with rebuilds on pumps over 50k because of wear.

LOL. I wouldn't buy jack from I.I. my 3k$ injectors lasted 25k miles.
They are just out to sell you stuff you don't need, as their CP3's don't have the straightest track record either.
My 240k top cp3 holds 23,000 PSI just fine.
