Question Bully Dog shift kit

i was installing one of these a couple weeks ago on an 03 duramax/allison and noticed it didn't have any checkballs in it, why is this? i guess i just assumed all auto trans had check *****?!

Allison's use solenoids instead of check *****- one of the reasons they handle so much torque. The line pressure in those transmission are so great that they would push through any check ball
