Well we ran 5 times the first two runs I won, The second two he won, The last run was so close we called it a draw. The SS is faster off the line hands down. until I get some R's going he puts a truck length on me every time. And then comes second gear our sweet spot It's catch up time. Between 2nd and third its over for the SS. This is where the Hemi shines.These truck's are so close it's whoever gets the jump Win's. It was some good racing. I have a Hemi QC 2x4 on 20's 3-92 rear. And no I'm not here to rub anything in anyone's face. SO please don't take it as I 'm trying to do that, I know this is a GM site. I like GM's a much as Dodges. I forgot to mention The trucks had Pretty much the same mod. Exhaust mods on both truck's.

 

Have you had a chance to run yours at the track? I have not run an SS yet, but would like to...just for grins.

 

Ya 14.99 With TMR mod 15.05 with out. That was last year and it was about 40 degrees. I also stripped some weight and put my 17's on to run at the track.

 

Most SS trucks will run low 15s in stock form. With some break in miles, they may break into the 14s. Mine ran a 10.00 1/8th mile with just a few hundred miles on the odometer and no mods. Thats probably a low/mid 15 second 1/4 mile run.

 

Up here in fallon, theres a SS, he was running 16.11. I was running listed below stock. He has an intake and exhaust. I raced another one this past fri in the 1/8th, 1st run beat his *** good. The rest were neck in neck. I love the SS, just wished it was a RC.

 

Good kill. followede be an even better death. i havent seen to many RCSB hemi's around here..maybe its cuz im looking for a srt10 more than a hemi though....
