Adapter plate for sanden compressor to hook up to my old r4 lines because im way to lazy to hunt down a shop to make me new lines and this is probably cheaper anyways for 80 bucks

Speak of the devil, showed up a day early, worked out good l, was off today for dentist appointment so was able to get my valve seals over to him. Hopefully ill be putting this mouse together next weekend. Think ive got everything except maybe an aftermarket fuel rail, not sure the truck rail is going to work with my new injectors, and some an braided hose and fittings.

30 pound ev1 4 hole injectors from ford, rebuilt and flow matched to within 1 percent

Will stick them on my intake and see if the fuel rails work this weekend. Not looking promising just from eyeballing it.

Heads, rods, pistons, crank back from the machine shop.

Transmission cooler showed up no pictures of that. So I have everything i need to put it together, just need to verify torque specs, go buy some plastigage and we will get this party started

Really happy with the machine shop, granted i only used plastigage and not a dial bore indicator but all the rods measured .0015, same as the mains except number 1 main which was .002

Money shot, top rings are at .015 to .016 respectively, rotational torque measurement was 14 ft lbs once she started turning. Granted no cam or timing set yet but should spin up real nice when the go pedal is mashed.

Installing new crank timing gear, and oil pump gear, no pictures of pulling old one off, needed all 4 of my hands to get it off with the cheap orileys puller

All hooked up, dont need a double roller adjustable timing set for what this motor is, maybe 400 horse if im lucky, next year when i can justify the expense of a turbo or two, at which point it will need more reliable and adjustable timing. Or so i told myself when i bought it. No idea what tuning software is capable of.

Spent all day trying to find a balancer instalation tool, couldnt find one, so spent a few more hours trying to find some m16x2.0 threaded rod, couldnt find that either, so i used the old bolt flipped backwards and hit it with a hammer until i could catch a thread and pulled it on. Hope the thrust bearing survived....

Put it away for the night, im honestly disgusted with the engineering department at general motors. Theres no reason for balancer to be so difficult to install.
