I can trade you a set of almost brand new 2nd gen truck coils with wiring and brackets. The brackets are painted silver with polished stainless bolts or I can send a paypal.

I need these to fit my Abear valve covers.

But are they worth it from an upgrade standpoint? Hotter coils/better spark ignition/better "whatever"?

Nooooo...... No matter what you may read you aren't going to gain anything from one to another.

I need new coils to fit valve covers not because I want to "upgrade" anything.

I haven't read ANYTHING, that was why I asked. I'm a complete newbie to LS engines so I thought that maybe the LS2s got better coils & you wanted them for the hotter spark like upgrading the standard coils on older SBC engines, that's all. It was just what it was.....A question.
