Default WTB 4l60e with a warranty

Looking to replace the stock 4l60e in my 68 c10 swap. because of issues it is having

Im not really looking for a built trans, more so just a fresh rebuild with a few minor upgrades, maybe a transgo shift kit.

but I want something with some type of warranty as well.

Thanks again!

Good call. My advice is to go to a reputable local builder or the dealer, because on the off chance you have a problem these mail order builders will pretty much tell you "tough ****" and not give you a bit of help.

Thats arguable. a builder with a reputation wants to keep it. so no matter where they are pick someone you trust! dont chose the closest

actually it turns out it may all be an issue with how my gauges are wired up, my speedo is spliced into the VSS and according to some gurus on ls1tech, even though autometer says that is best it isn't it causes weird tranny shifting issues.

So Im going to splice into the PCM output like they suggest and remove the splice in the VSS and see if that helps tonight when I get home.

Keep telling yourself that, you'll learn the hard way eventually. Most people do, just like I did.

Mods can close this thread.

ended up with no trans issue, just an issue with my speedo messing up the VSS signal.
