Come on up to the North side man!

California is pretty nice as far as scenery goes but there's a lot to be desired that's for sure.

well we have wildlife...all kinds. I don't know your (new) home are but I'm sure you can find mountains in an hour or two and the beach in the same or less.

when i wend to SD 2 years ago for a long weekend. I was ready to leave not long after i got there. I had been there less than 1 hour and got pulled over by the police because i didn't have a seat belt on. He said va has seat belt laws dont it, i said yeah but they cant just pull you over for it. you have to be doing something else. I talked to him in my most southern accent and got off with a warning.

There are plenty of country type places in San Diego....Alpine,Lakeside,Poway,Escondido,Jamul,Eas t El Cajon,Julian....
-There all mainly in the east county...alot of my friends growing up lived on 1+ acre lots with horses,15 mins from my house in the "city"
-I have lived here my whole life and everywhere else I compare is either too hot,too cold(snow) or my union wage would be $18 instead of $41
just watch Gummo and then watch Dogtown and you'll feel better

Understandable...I'm sure it was a huge shock to move to a densely populated place like Cali. I'm not sure that I could do it, and I live in Phoenix I don't mind vacationing there, but living? I dunno....

I live in Poway now, and I have lived in many different places throughout my life. This is nothing like the country I'm referring to, don't get me wrong though I like the weather and all the attractions and what not but I won't be retiring here though.
