March 7 2007 Infineon is open for Weds night drags

Weather permitting (cool weather ) I will be going. Anyone want to run brackets with me?

 

I'll be going if I get my truck fixed.

 

To far north for me, plus I out of tires...

 

Now that sounds like fun. If I can get a trailer..........

 

I'm still not sure if I'm gonna make it. Still waiting on my new T/C. I'm not even sure if it is the T/C that has crapped. You hardly notice the noise anymore from the trans but I know something is screw up in there. I have a feeling if I take it to the track it will explode.

 

Sorry to hear that Archie, but I think it's going to rain this Weds anyhow. I am ready to take half a day off if it's clear though so I can get in line early.
I still need a fire jacket to pass tech too.

 

I'm hoping for one more trip down there before summer hits... But I don't think it will be this time.....

 

Chance of rain Weds anyway, plus opening night might be a bit busy. I'm thinking next weds if its dry!

 

Yea my transmission gave out today. Took it for a spin around the block and RPMs sky rocketed and no more go, no movement in any gear. I stopped on the side of the street called my dad to bring the tow chain. We hooked it up and brought it home. Looks like I'll be ordering a FLT Level 5 4L65E soon. I'm also going to be throwing in a new torque converter too. It probably won't be back on the road for a while.

 

Ok, I'm committing to this Weds, the 14th! It may not be too cool weather wise but if I can hang in the brackets it'll cool down in the evening for sure.
