Nonnie, easy there on the LEO shooting; the SWAT team may have gotten schooled on a course by a (very young) competitive shooter, but much of my training has been geared towards executing good judgement and performance under extreme duress, not just endless plinking at the range. There are a large number of competitive shooters that would embarrass an LEO at the range, but there is a lot more to the job than shooting and we certainly don't shoot daily like many competitive shooters. Of course there are shoddy shooters in law enforcement but it isn't really fair to state that poor shooting on the part of the officers is to blame for subjects who survive gunshot wounds to vital areas.

 

Add a quad rail to my ar10 with a vertical foregrip, and get a magnifier for the eotech.
Trigger job for the xd,
Bring the smith and Wesson .500 home

Well I just ordered all my parts to put together my first AR the other day. Itll be a while before I buy any more firearm related stuff but my next purchase will be an XDs, then a starter 1911. I think thats all Ill be able to swing this year funds wise on guns since we are starting the house mods. I also need to find more time to make it out to the range.

order my barrel, and the rest of my upper parts for a new build. 6.8 was just pointless since I am not really able to hunt right now. Maybe next year I can free up more time and get back in the 6.8 game, until then, the .223 wylde will do.
