I agree. Not a good one. It works but the ergonomics arent there.
SW designed that pistol to duplicate the old heavy double action revolver triggers.
You would be much happier with a glock or XD.

Agreed with above and actually that's not even a good price on it. That gun was Smith's attempt at copying the superior Glock pistol, and they ended up having to pay Glock due to copyright infringement if I recall correctly. So they just try and sell them cheap.
I would personally go with a Glock, it's my personal preference and I own several. I have also owned Smith's M&P45 and it was a good gun, just with a poor trigger. Essentially S&W, Springfield, and Glock all make good polymer pistols, but I prefer the original, and I also do not like external safeties.
