My dad gave me his Browning .300 Medallion
with the factory loaded .300 winmag I can group 4" at 300yds
Has a leupold 20x40mm variable scope. Very nice gun. My favorite, specially considering who it came from

I bet! a hand me down is the most valuable.
My grandpa gave me a M1 Carbine, most cherished gun i have.

I love me some 300WM!!

300yds 3 shots
Shot my buddys R700 300Wm and it did the big 3 shot group..ha, he said it was prolly me pulling the shots.. So i got my 300 out and shot a group that a dime covered

Sighting in at 600yds for a match.. 3 shots way off to the right, next 3 were too far left, next 3 were in a lil group close enough to be on paper for the match. Even counting the scope change, its still under 5" at 600, ill take that anyday

That they do, but the wait is insane at least for me. I have been looking for one of their GAP-10 rifles in 260Rem for a bit. On day I will find one LOL.

Action, Trigger, base, and bolt work bought used (60 rounds) 500
Barrel new 320
Rings new 100
Stock new 700
Smith work, recoil lug, brake, and shipping 665
Paint work and shipping 340
Scope New 700
Bipod and pod lock used 75

Total 3400 exactly.

Bought all items off of snipershide either new from members or slightly used.

If I paid retail it would have been about 4100 plus more in shipping.

The nice thing is the 5R Milspec action comes out of remingtons custom shop and are a bit tighter clearances than the normal actions. This is indicated by the S prefix serial number. You cannot buy these new other than buying the entire 5R Milspec rifle new.
