My current on going project is rem700 300winmag, sightron SIII glass, glass bedded stock, harris bipod, oversized recoil lugs, trued bolt face and chamber, Magillian stainless 26" barrel. 3/4 moa on the bags if you can get past the recoil

What do you guys got and what range do you typically shoot at?

 

Dont have an pics, and dont own it anymore, lol...but i had a 1886 Lebel MLE that shot balle m ammunition..IIRC. That was one strange, but powerful cartridge

 

mine is a custom 257 STW with 26" stainless barrel,thumbhole walnut stock with 8.5 x 24 vx3 scope...shoots 7mm STW brass necked down to 257 with a 100 grain nosler bullet...dont have any pics here at work of it but it is sweet right at 4000 ft per sec.

 

Savage 111LRH 338 Lapua topped off with a vx-3l, and a Rem 700, bedded, Vortex scope, Recrowned, and blue printed action in 300RUM.

Wife's got a Weatherby Mk-V in 30-378 with just a leupy 4-14.

Usually we shoot from 500 yards out to 1800, but once hunting season starts we bring it in to no more than 4-700 max.

 

Not really competitive with the rifle listed so far.. But here is one of my long range shooters. The 6.5 Grendel is not a huge power house killer, but its accurate out to good distance. My other is a 25-06 Sendero. I'm really only into long range varmints. If I'm hunting medium sized game, its with a bow...

300winmag rem 710 (cheap) but shoots lights out to 500 yards. would go farther but scope has a BDC so it limits me. I shoot a 200gr accubond thru this one and 2800FPS. its nice out to 500.






300RUM.. rem trued action with all the trimmings, 29 inch obermyer 1-10 twist barrel, McM adjustable stock pillored and bedded, also a brake I added, SS5-20x50HD, near manufacturing 25MOA base and Aadland rings.shoots a 210gr berger 3175. Its a lazer out to 1000yards. No recoil at all. its a heavy rifle.






338RUM I built. Rem700 sendero action trimmed out in a McM stock with a brake I added, SS5-20x50HD with a 20moa base with burris XTR rings. It shoots a 300gr berger at 2700FPS. it's nice at long ranges
