oh yeah, it sounds fun. I have ran this one out to 1,200 yards and it dose really well. 230 gr Berger with some Retumo behind it, 3150 with no pressure signs. it seem like a lot but its a 30 inch obernyer barrel. Its a heavy rifle and with the small brake on it, it has not much recoil at all. I love to shot it.

Well, I got the SWFA 3-15 as a gift from my lovely wife for Christmas. First impressions are that it feels like a well constructed scope. It's not overly large or heavy. Elevation and windage adjustments have very precise and audible clicks. They don't even have the mushy feeling like some lesser scopes. Right now, I've got it mounted on my DPMS LR308 for a range test tomorrow, if the weather holds. No 50cal ammo available in town right now and I'm not set up to reload it yet. If it passes the box test on my AR, I'll move it to the Lapua until I can get 50cal ammo in.

Update-
Got a SS3-15 for Christmas. I finally got to hit the range yesterday. I only mounted it on my DPMS LR-308 so I could do the box drill and test it. As for the results, all I can say is nearly flawless. The paralax settings are a little bit off, but tracking is perfect. Got it zero'd at 200 yards in no time at all. Moved over to the 500 yard steel gong and set it to hit 2 mils high. In retrospect, I should've taken pictures of my 200 yard target as I had to keep walking down there to see if I had missed. Darn bullets kept going through the same holes. I highly recommend this scope to anyone whom can't afford a Nightforce, S&B etc... Next will be to throw it on the 50 and see what it can handle as far as recoil.

Good choice on that scope. Ive got a USO and a SB PM2 5-25 and with the big price increase in SB I don't see me buying any of them. Other good scopes are the Bushnell line DMR ERS and XRS.
Im putting my 5-25 PM2 on my latest build
Remington 700 stainless action in 300 RUM 230gr bergers
29" Bartlein Sendero contour with 6 flutes
Manners T2A elite tactical with carbon fiber
Timney 1.5lb trigger
Kampfeld fluted bolt
Murphy precision titanium rings and bases
APA LB brake
all together scoped should be around 14lbs.
