I have already written letters to my congressman as have my wife and everyone I work with. I urge everyone to do the same, remember they are elected officials.

With the Republicans having control of the House I really don't see this stuff getting through.

With the amount & type of Executive Orders Obama has already signed, I don't see how this needs to go through.

Why even propose legislation if he is just going to sign an EO? Atleast in its current form it would require almost all modern firearms to be registered through the NFA. That simply wont work, there are only 8 insoectors to push the paoerwork through right now, as well as this infringing upon states rights and the 2A. I just don't see it going through in its current form. Now another AWB ban like the Clinton one plus high cap mags, yeah be worried about that.

All the people who are saying "don't worry about it, it will never go through" are the same people who said there's no way the public will re-elect Obama. And here we are.

Don't underestimate what's happening here. The Dems are riding the wave, and Reps are falling.
