Default 9mm S&W shield or Sig P938

Looking at a new concealed gun. I like the idea that you can pocket either of these guns. Price range is a little one sided. The S&W is a few hundred cheaper than the sig. From what I read the sig had issues when it first came out but they have fixed them now or will fix them if you have FTE or FTL. I haven't even got to hold a shield as they are as hard to find as free money at the moment. But I held the sig today with the 7rd clip and man its nice. I love the 1911'esk styling of it. What are you thought on these 2 or what do you carry.

I carry an XD 40 its not real small but it points like my STI,s and I have put hundreds of thousands through them so its a good fit .If I need to use it I know I can hit what ever I am shooting at I would get what your most comfortable with

I am a fan of the XD's too. I have a 5'' tactical XD 40, and love it. But there really aren't and XD's like I want. Both guns I listed are single stack and they are both in the 1"thickness range. Trying to avoid a double stack so I can pocket it. I dont wear the yo yo homie jeans so i dont want it to print in my pocket. (not nut hugging wrangles either). So I want the lil pistol thin.

I had one, good shooter and great for what youre wanting to do. They make a 2 round mag extension for 7 rounds of 45acp. I only sold it to fund buying more ammo since I let my chl lapse I cant carry it. Once I get my chl again I'll be buying another one.

Went and checked out the XDS 45. I have to say it was really nice but not as pocketable as the Sig. I got to hold and test fit the Sig today. The Extreme with the 7rd clip is a winner to me, but like the looks of the Nightmare. So I told the wife that is what I wanted for christmas and the ext mag. I will give yall a run down after a day at the range with it.

Of those two I actually prefer the shield.

Check out the Beretta Nano also. I haven't handled one yet but they look pretty nice, pocketable and very affordable. I believe it only comes in as large as a 9mm but for a close quarters rib/hey, get off me gun.. I think it'll do the trick.
