Sys are notorious for overboosting with the Cats removed. 3Bar? What type of Chip? Aftermarket wastegate?

Go to Syty.net and search for overboosting. Many many many owners have experienced it. www.raceprovenmotors.com has aftermarket highflow cats that can help solve the problem.

With only the cat its a tad bit loud....

But as far as emissions...well the exhaust probe can only go so far into the cat So I dont know if that was the reason or what not but lets just say I passed emissions with flying colors

An exhaust isnt really part of the smog program, just the cat so you'll be ok.. Im in Cali and I passed so im sure you could pass anywhere else.

But like I said its a little bit loud... www.raceprovenmotors.com also has a complete Sy exhaust you can buy so you might want to go that route with the cat. Its not so bad around town when you are screwing around but a long distance drive it starts to wear on you. Though when you are boosting it sounds a bit strange imo. Not like it matters, 99.99999% of the public thinks you are driving an S-10 with ground effects.
