Default Wiring: Fan switch override

I want to wire in a switch to manually override my Efans. Can anyone shed some light on it for me and explain exactly what i need to do? A while back Justin from BBP explained it to me. Its been a long while and all of that info went out the door. Wiring is not my thing and im not afraid to ask for help lol. Its an 05 GMC sierra with factory dual fan set up. thanks in advance

Are you wanting to turn it off or turn it on?

go to radioshack and get a DPDT switch. There are 2 colums of 3 rows of connectors on the back. Assuming you have the 2 wire harness, extend the blue and green wires to the switch and wire it thusly:

[green] [blue]
[ground] [ground]
[blue] [empty]

flipping it up will put it on manual low, middle will be pcm control only, down will be manual high.

Nah, the current in the wires is extremely small.
