Default Will someone be willing to take a look at my tune?

I am having some idle issues since I finally put on the fans... seems like its trying to pull timing at idle to compensate for the engine brake not being on there anymore LOL

Let me know and I can get you some logs and files. Its in HPT...

he can... but we're always open to suggestions... I'd like to get another set of experienced eyes on my tune as well... Never hurts to have your work double checked.

Dewey? Grippy? Brian? Anybody?

Post up a tune!
Did you adjust the "Cooling Fan Airflow" under the Idle Airflow tab?

I'll have to link to a thread on 'Tech where my tuner posted them. I hate asking people to go look for information, but thats the only way I know how unless someone can tell me how to copy and paste these attachments.

I'll put up a full mod list too to help out.

If you have the file you can post it up here by using the "manage attachments" button in the advanced reply part of the Additional options. I can go get it on tech though if you have the link.

Well like I thought the "Cooling Fan Airflow" is set to 0.
I have mine set to 0.20 for Fan1 and 0.40 for Fan1&2
I'm still running on a stock cam though so I would use that as a start and see if it helps. I also have another tune that is using 0.25 and 0.55 respectively.
Those settings are what allows the idle to compensate for the additional alternator load.

I haven't looked at the logs yet.. Does it idle poorly all the time or just when the fans are running?

Thats the thing, It doesnt idle poorly if you were just standing next to it LOL... its just the KR issues, and some airflow problems at idle. I think my fuel trims are kinda whacked still too. My fans arent setup through the PCM though, I believe its set in there, but thats not how they are connected. They run off another sensor in the engine. They shouldnt affect the engine at all...
