Default Will the new TPMSs work.....

Hey guys- just got that 2018 Silverado I was looking for. Just scored some of those stylish '21+ 18 inchers and can't seem to get the TPMS relearn to recognize the new units. Can the newer 433mhz units work on a truck originally equipped with the 315mhz units?
TIA

I do not believe so. I think you are going to have to put in your old sensors.

Well some good news here, guys. Figured I'd go to the dealer just for kicks and surprisingly the service writer actually comprehended what I was saying and told me to bring the truck by later in the afternoon and lo and behold a tech comes out with his magic wand and now all TPMSs communicate and I can see my tire pressures.........
