That's my issue right there. My car is carb'd and I want to be able to monitor the AFR on that too. Does anyone know if I can use the LM-1 on my carb'd non-computer controlled car, and then plug it into HPT on my truck? That would kick some serious ***!

Todd, you can use the logworks software that comes with the LM-1 to monitor and log with your laptop on the carbed setup and it will work with HPT too.

Nice. I'll add that to the wish list. Too bad I don't have time to install let alone play with my new toys.

I was looking into this and didn't get a clear answer why the LM1 was better set up for portability and durability (according to innovative) over the LC1. Is the fact that you have:
1) the brains of the part is in the cab with the LM1 due to the 18' lead, where with the LC1 it's underneath?
2) Portabe with the readouts attached the LM1 where you need the laptop with the LC1?

I don't know if the display really has much value while you're driving. It's too small and it's numeric. If you had someone else driving the truck while watching it might be worth the display. The LM-1 doesn't stand out until you start using the extra inputs. If you're happy with only O2 and nothing else, the LC-1 would be the wiser choice I think.

In using EFILive, that would take the place of the tuning that the LM-1 is capable of right. I would use EFI to call up those inputs. I guess I'm a little unclear what other imputs you mean. Admittely novice here and thought the WB basically gives O2 and AFR.
