Why am I pulling timing?
#11
I'm inches from buying my own software, should have done it long ago. But, the tune I have now is locked, which means I would have to pay someone to get me in the ballpark again so that I could start tweaking. No way I would tackle tuning my truck from scratch when I have zero tuning experience. Blown with a 4L80 swap, I would image the learning curve would be pretty steep for a newb.

Quit screwing around and get your own software. I'd recommend it from Blackbear. He will get you a base tune and then you can tweak things from there to your liking, such as trans parameters. The locking of the PCM business is something I will no longer tolerate; the tuner does not own the vehicle.
Ill get my own software when you finally do your 80e swap bish, lol

Think I need to talk to Justin

he will have you a base tune that will be plenty good.
You can slowly learn you way thru it.
Once you learn all the little stuff about the software and you know how an engine works your good to go.
