I will update you guys after the call.

Thx again all, Mark
Just wanted to throw this out there, if you haven't found or decided on a tuner, I'll be driving up to NC to pick up a bike, once the Avalanche is back together, and of course if you want me to tune it.

It'll probably be in a month or so.

i have heard some bad things adout nelson but i have heard some good and for sure the good out weight the bad.their are a few thing i personly don't like the way he does a few things but everyone has their own idea.i have also heard alot about wheatle, don't know him personly but they are both good tuners.
but i will tell you this once you start you can't stop modding that is then yes **** breaks then more modding then more **** breaks then more modding. so take witch every one you goo with take their advice. and if you go their and tell them you wantthis that and the other and something happens 2 weeks later all i can say you got what you wanted,so don't come on here bitching about your truck breaking.not trying to be an *** and i welcome you to PT.net just get a tune from anyone that you can get feed back on.
do your homework.

Are you talking about Jeff Creech??? He tuned my truck, and it is still not spot on drivability wise but I do have a TR224 cam in a 4.8.... It will fly but, the hardest part is getting to durham to get a retune.

I have contacted Wheatly and some other tuners. They don't seem to respond to my e-mails. I find that to be poor customer service. I have never contacted Nelson.
I need a good, reliable tuner.

He tuned it, I have a tr224 cam in a 4.8... Its a little on the big side. We are in the process of tweaking the drivability part of it... HP wise I put down 300/300 to the wheels on the dyno. Its right it hauls ***, just getting the idle, shifts, and low throttle driving right... He has only retuned it once.
