Wheatly VS. Nelson Custom Tune

he will get you going and comes highly recommended. i've seen first hand dyno proven results from his tunes on his customers vehicles. he knows his ****. He sends you a logging device and changes your tune accordingly, no cookie cutter tunes from him ever! One of the best tuners i've ever come acrossed. Highly recommended.

NELSON! I also have HPT and don't know **** about it. I can log my files send them to him, he looks at them, then sends me new tunes. works out great for me since I don't have the time to play with and learn how to tune, and don't want to risk blowing up my ****.

I've had tunes from both. Nelson tuned my first 04 CCSB cam'd and all, and I was very happy with his tune. Wheatley has since tuned 3 of my next trucks and I have been very happy with his tunes. I initally went with Wheatley because he was much closer for a street tune, and he is a close personal friend. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong either way, they both have their own close following of fans, and are both excellent tuners.

Second of all, this is another case of infamous forum lost in translation...
I prefaced my post by saying I wasn't trying to be an *** - and I wasn't. I was just suggesting he do a search and lots of reading to decide on the one he wants. My post was more in response to his statement below:
If you'll re-read my post with that approach in mind, you'll again see I wasn't being an ***. I tried to be clear on that to avoid an argument and keep the thread on track.

And I have a few years on you "kid".

+1 for Nelson, customer service has always been great for me, since 2003. Everything in my truck has been done by them, even now my truck is at his house waiting for a FLT tranny to go for that 10 sec pass.
